Hello! I’m Jessica

I’m a lifestyle family and newborn photographer based in beautiful San Diego, California. My passion for photography began in my teen years, taking a few classes in high school and college where we used film and we actually developed our own prints in the darkroom. I started taking photos again with my first DSLR camera shortly after my first child was born. I wanted to be able to capture all of those beautiful fleeting moments with our children. As a recent empty nester, I  now have an even greater appreciation for how quickly our children grow up. At many times with young children, we are so caught up in the day-to-day busyness of raising them, that we don’t always stop to just take it all in. My goal is to be able to slow down those hectic days temporarily and help capture some of these cherished moments with you and your family with my camera. I strive to tell authentic stories about your family that express emotions and connections.

Lifestyle photography aims to capture the candid moments in your family together. I aim to create a relaxed atmosphere during shoots, encouraging genuine interactions that result in photographs filled with life and personality. I love to get to know my clients a little before the session to try to understand their family dynamic a bit more and bring that to life in an authentic way.
